No one has been forgotten. The verification list is at SLP and we're still waiting on graphics to produce another set of LofA blanks. As long as everyone keeps me up to date with any address & email changes, I'll be able to send your LofA's when they're ready.

I wish there was some good news on the LOFA's.

The LofAs are very important to me, too, but it's out of my hands. SLP has the verification data and will get it to me whenever they are able.

How many LOFA's are we waiting on now? Are we needing blanks forms or what to get them done? Is there anything we can make or do to help get it done? Jim

We need verification on about 100 cars with SS #, SLP out date and SLP optional content on each.
As soon as that data is back to me from SLP, I merge it into the LofA's and send them to SLP for signature. They come back to me and I mail them to the members.

Not at this time. I'm in contact with someone at SLP who can help me as soon as I get the list of the newest group of members over there.

I have a Lofa for Julie and was wondering if it is legal to make a repro of it and white out Julie's info and replace it with Jenny's numbers for the car shows until I can get the original Lofa for her. Jim, Julie, and Jenny

I wouldn't recommend using one car's LofA for another car. The VINs are different, as are the member numbers, member name(s), order numbers, SS numbers and possibly the options. Making all those changes create a fake document and just isn't worth doing in my opinion. I promise you as soon as SLP gets the verifications back to me, I'll be producing the LofA's as soon as possible.

This is starting to sound like a broken record. I don't think anybody here doubts your commitment to getting these out as soon as possible Terry. But the way SLP is dragging their feet is getting a little ridiculous.

Ah, o.k....I didn't read that thread after I posted. To the previous question about signatures, nothing has changed to my knowledge and Dave will still sign them after verification.

Two? Unless you're waiting on a re-print, my records indicate that members from June of '03 to present date are waiting. I know a year is much too long to wait, but it's out of my hands and all I can do is wait along with everyone else. Posts: 7198 | From: Near Portland, Oregon, USA | Registered: Feb 2000

My bet is that we are all waiting for something that is never gonna happen. If no one has made any effort to do these in a full year, they aren't going to now... I'm as patient as the next guy, and have heard how busy everyone is, etc. for months and months... Over a full YEAR has now passed... IMO theres not too much excuse for not having these if they were in fact ever gonna come. Does it still list these as something you get with a membership? If it does, that part should be removed.

I have been told that we will get our verifications and have sent the list many times. I don't know what else to say because I want to see the verifications as much as everyone else, if not more, just to get them off my back.

How long would it take to sign just a few LofA's each day? After a while "someone" would be caught up! If they can't do it, then maybe someone else could sign them for us. I will sign them if you need me too!
Edit from Teri (since this board is now archived): It's not the signatures we're waiting on. It's the verification of member cars. I've sent a list of approximately 100 VINs to SLP. I am waiting on the specific SLP content and build info for each car. Once I have that info, I will merge it to the LofA template and send them off for signature. The signature part is quick......it's the verification part that has taken a long time.
