After D7 on Saturday, we trailered Tom Black's broken supercharged 30th Anniversary Z28 to Bergie's house near Dulles. Bergie drove Bob's truck and Bob drove the Comp. Unfortunately, on the Beltway several large nasty *&%#$@! rocks hit the windshield making a few chips and four cracks on the passenger side So Comp 29 needs a new windshield. Does anyone know a competent shop which can replace it without messing up the interior and exterior of the car? We live in the Fredericksburg, VA area.
BTW, Bob ran a disappointing 12.44 @ 110.93 and I ran a slow 13.62. Track was not prepped -- too much rain -- My car was doing better each run. Was getting ready to go back up when the rains started and cancelled our event.

Dorie, check with your insurance company to see where they send "show cars" for repair. I have State Farm and they covered everything at a shop that does regular repairs as well as custom cars.

Thanks Mike, Ken and Bob. We have Geico insurance and they've recommended Safelite which is the same one that Barnett recommended. We'll see how well they take care of old 29. Bob wanted them to come to our house but they said it's too big of a windshield to repair for one guy. So we'll be taking it in one day next week. Will keep you posted. You know Bob will be watching
