Hello, I'm new here. I just wanted to know what the average price is on a comp ta.

My brother has a 97 WS6, black on black, man it's beutiful, anyway, I've wanted something of originality that wouldn't creep to badly on his territory, the comp is the answer to that question. The only problem being, they are extremely rare.

What other specialty models of the TA were created? Preferably models with the LT1. Would it cost very much to build an imitation comp?

Thanks

You can't build an imitation comp t/a. When you tried to get things like the badges, the floor mats, the air cleaner cover, or the car cover the jig would be up. You have to have a comp t/a vin# to get that stuff. I have heard (from a good source) that the average price is about twenty. I paid substantaly less for mine. But the cars kick !@!. The cool thing is that out at the strip everyone drools over fire hawks, but when a comp t/a shows up it's the queen of the prom. It's just so rare to see one. An added plus is that you can always sell it for what you have in it. I decided not to sell mine after all. The market is currently to low on the cars. You should'nt pay any more than 18 for a good car with average milage for the year with the current market on the cars. Buy one and hold on to it for a few years. It's pretty rare to find a car that does'nt depreciate.

Don't build a fake comp! Not a good idea. It would be expensive and you would have to be a Comp T/A owner to even buy parts.

Hey Mike, were you in a magazine #57, my brother was reading an article on comps, he said the owner was #57, Is that you?

Yeah, you're right on the imitation, why build something that will never live up to the real deal. Maybe I'll just use the paint scheme.

I'd like to inform my brother of a TA users group, what's the best. Anythings for Ws6's?

Have you guys obtained your balanced diet and eaten a little rice today? Sadly, I'm the owner of an 86.5 Supra, I was really pumped about it for a while, joined SOGI and all, but it just cost's to damn much to hop up. Anyway, $5000 latter, I finally know what I want.

I really wanted to be able to get a comp but I think it's a little out of the question at this point in time, so I'll give a heads up to somebody if interested in purchasing one:

Heres a link to a comp on e-bay who's current high bid is sitting around 12,000. Theirs only a day left, so if you intrested, you'd better act fast.

Good Luck.
