Sorry, I already bought it, it now has almost 1800 miles on it, don't worry, this car will never see over 5000 miles or mods if I have anything to do with it. I have something else to play with

Hey Jonathan, I have 97 Comp T/A #155 -- guess that means mine was the first produced for the 1997 run Just now pushing 25,000 miles, but it is my daily driver since I just bought a 2002 Collector's Edition, which gets to play hangar queen

I can't believe you drive your car daily! I hope you do this from lack of another ride! Well, after one litte nick in my hood, I drive mine once or twice a month if that. Oh and since I used to drive my 96 Z28SS daily, and I was rearended by a POS Stang totaling a well optioned SS. I can't go through that again. So, get yourself a big ugly truck like me! Stick a nasty engine in it and have no worries when you drive.

Figured it out, I am the luckiest SOB on earth. II caontacted SLP and gave hem my VIN, it all checked out! My car was the last 96 Comp produced by SLP! So Steve, yours is the first 97, congrats!

Comp T/A 155 is also a hangar queen now with almost 29,000 on her. CE T/A has 500 miles. Just bought an 02 GMC Sierra 1500, ext cab 4X2. I love it! Yeah, it is not a T/A, but it sure makes those T/A's a lot of fun to drive after a few weeks of truckin'.
I realized after the input Jonathan, there were 47 1997 Comp T/A's built, so how could 155 be the first 97. I think SLP had no rhyme nor reason to their numbering scheme. I can't figure anything out about the 164 produced except that mine was built in 97
Thanx for the input Ken. Had fun driving her daily while I could. Thinking about selling her, but not without catching a good price ... in other words, hate to part with her. Comp T/A's rule!!
