Can you still get the wheels for the Comp T/A new? If not I take it they are painted wheels. My wheels have a couple of area's that looks like the paint has come off. If they are painted does any body know the paint code? It looks very close to the body color. I'm thinking about repainting them. Any info would be helpful, thanks.

I recently spoke with a rep at SLP who informed me that Speedline, the manufacturer of the wheels, stopped producing them after the COMP T/A run. SLP only carried enough to fill the COMP T/A orders.

Thanks for the info, I guess that makes them pretty rare wheels. I'm starting to see how special the Comp T/A is.

If you need an extra set go to the Firehawk page and list a wanted ad. I did that a few months ago and got 3 replys for people selling a set of the rims. They were also the standard rim for the '95 Hawks. I am not sure on the '96 Hawks or not but I have seen two 96s that had the Speedline rims as well.

You can also get a set of 2002 WS6 rims. They are made by Speedline, but they have a lip (wheel wieghts) rather than a rolled / smooth edge like ours. They litteraly are the same cast and size, just the lip is different. I bought a set to have the back two widened for a set of 315's.

Danky12,

I am interested in the Comp T/A wheels that you have. What condition are they in and do you still have the Comp T/A center caps?
