I need some advice. I have 3 items. 1)I recently read that you can by pass the coolant flow through throttle body. Does this help and is it worth the time?? 2)The 2nd item is the they suggest that you remove the air screen (honeycomb screen) from the MAF sensor.3)The 3rd item is under drive pulleys for the crank and alt. Does any of this stuff work? and how well? You read so much stuff that it makes wonder if this is just text that it used to to take up space. So, I'm asking my Comp T/A friends that I know some of you have done these modifications for you input.

Thank you

Kevin,
They will help. I'm not sure how much. These were 3 of the first mods that I did to my car.

1) Its free and can't hurt.
2) I wouldn't remove the screens. Mine(96 WS6) would collect small debris that got by the air filter. Plus, the added CFM gained won't be utilized because you'll probably never outflow the MAF w/screens.
3) The pulley(s) might get you some HP. But the main advantage to getting the pulley is your power steering resevoir won't leak anymore.

Other things you can do that's cheap and help:
K&N, 160 thermostat, Fernco coupling, air foil. They aren't much individually, but together they add up to noticeable gains.
