Has anyone used a product called Seafoam to clean their TB and injectors. Does it work? Any ill effects? My car is running great but is this something I should do as a preventive measure. Many state that today's pump gas has enough detergent additives to clean the injectors. Like to hear some opinions and experiences. Also where can one buy this Seafoam? Thanks.

GM used ball&plate injectors in the LT1 engine. No pintles were used.
drawback? hydrolock at high fuel pressure. benefit? no pintles mean very little deposits and cleanliness problems.
There's enough detergent in modern gasoline to prevent most problems with injectors, from what I've read.
Seafoam (same as GM top-end engine cleaner) is a petroleum distilate which is used to dissolve organic (carbon) build-up. Typically its "magic" is for intake/exhaust valves, intake manifolds, through TB's and vacume lines.
