Well since we all have convertibles here I thought this would be the best place to ask this one. I only drive my car on the weekends and only have a carport,I have been thinking of buying a cover but i'm worried about it damaging my top due to the dew getting on my car under the cover.I live near a big lake and the dew is real heavy sometimes.Well guys is this a valid concern. Please let me what you think on this one.

In my opinion,a cover is an invaluable tool to keeping your car looking great. Any car cover will help to protect your paint from the elements, but theres alot to consider. First, how often will it be covered and uncovered? Will it get wet, direct sunlight, incidental contact damage etc. I keep mine in the garage and covered with the SLP cover. It's pretty light weight so If it were outside i would consider getting a heavier material that wicks away water. There are many excellent materials available in car covers theese days and you really do get what you pay for, so don't go too cheap. I have bought two covers previously from California Car covers and they have good products. Sorry, i could'nt find the number for ya, but I'm sure you can find them on the net. Good luck.
