I have MSD and found them prone to arcing, I "gooped" (technical term) dielectric grease inside and out of the plug boots and cured the problem. The wire are a snug fit in the stock wire holders.

I think he's asking whether the Magnecor's fit inside the stock heat shields at the plug.
I've never used Magnecor's, so I couldn't tell you.
I have blue 10.5mm Taylor 409 wires, and they're great. A little on the expensive side and probably overkill, but I wanted fat blue ones to match the color scheme of my 30th. And yes, they fit inside the factory heat shields at the plug.

I chose the Taylor Sprio-Pro 8mm universal wires. I cut them to the length I wanted and routed them up near the valve covers with the B&M center bolt wire looms.
I'd hate to be the one to route the wires back through the factory wire looms...yuck! I did it once and it took forever!
If you plan on or already have headers...be sure to get the heat sleeves as well.

Good luck, BadAss30th
That Is What I Meant! The Stock Wires Fit Snug In The Heat Shield Tubes At The Spark Plugs.Do Any Aftermarket One's Fit The Same Way???I Already Know That The MSD Don't,Since I Have Them.My Concern Is Them Hitting My Headers If They Can Move In The Tubes When You Are Getting On The Car. By The Way,My Car Is A 98 LS1!

I'm not using the heat shields. Not sure where I originally found the information but I was lead to believe the Magnecor boot and wires were able to hande the heat.

Guys, I'm all about doing things one time....
I highly recommend...no matter what headers you have....to get the heat shields. I have run my car after my FLP Long Tubes and burnt 3 MSD Super Conductor Wires....that would explain the roughness in the motor.
Do yourselves a favor and get heatshields on when you do this work...why not pay 20-40 for a little more insurance after all that work and time??
