F-Body Enthusiasts....are you ready for another fun filled caravan!? The F-Body Hideout is putting together an F-Body caravan to SLP Customer Appreciation Day III in Englishtown, NJ, and to the 8th Annual Cops & Rodders in New Brunswick, NJ.

Remember, this is still in the planning stages, so all comments, suggestion/recommendations are welcome! This rough may be changed slightly....so be sure to check in from time to time as we progress. We still have until April for these events....so plenty of time to make things work for everyone.

SLP will publish the information in regards to discounted hotels and the times on their official site. I'll put up a flier on the net in regards to the New Brunswick Police Department's Cops & Rodders Car Show as soon as I get the original.

We'd like to depart on Friday, April 19th with meeting points along the route so that we can get everyone together prior to pulling into Englishtown, NJ. We are working on a hotel that will offer us a great discount that all of us may stay in. Friday night will be a day and night to meet those old friends of ours and to meet new friends. We'll all go to dinner and do a little partying later Friday evening.

Saturday, April 20th, we'll grab breakfast and leave early to hit the gates at Englishtown where SLP Customer Appreciation Day III will be held. Trust me, it's best to get there an hour early.....at least! There will be a car show, vendors, racing, and giveaways. After our all day event at SLP Day, we'll again caravan back to the hotel for dinner and a little partying once again.

Sunday, April 21st, we'll grab some breakfast and meet up with the Central Jersey Camaro/Firebird Owners and the New Brunswick Police Department. We'll get a police escort to the 8th Annual Cops & Rodders Car Show. You do not have to register for the car show, but it is a great cause (New Brunswick, NJ Death, Retirement, Widows & Orphans Fund, Inc.). Last year they gave away 8.5" x 11" plaques to the first 250 registrants.

After the awards are given to the recipients from the Cops & Rodders....we'll pack up and caravan on home. I know that we all live in different directions, and we'll all just peel away as our exits come up.

Why am I putting this together? Because, I think we need to keep our F-Body unity strong. It's not too often that we can all unite in one location with proper planning. I know this will be mainly for the Mid-Atlantic F-Body owners, but we can atleast round up those in the surrounding area. I'll contact the various magazines and media for coverage. We'll show those that believe the F-Body Enthusiasts are dying right along with the last production F-Body.

I've put together varying directions in locations and meeting spots....

The miles that are indicated on this list are in approximations. If you find any errors on this type up, please bring them to my attention so we can get things right.

  • Upon arrival to the Ramada, we'll have some road guards out blocking traffic and arranging the F-Bods in an orderly fashion so we do not create havoc on the streets and in the parking lot.

All in attendance of the caravan, please submit to me the following:

  • Your Name
  • What you will be driving (year, make, and model)
  • Your cell phone number
  • Your email address
  • And, whether or not you'll be with a talk-a-bout

This will help us in gathering up information for when we all head out with the group on the caravan. We need to definitely keep our talk-a-bouts and cell phones in the front, middle, and rear of the caravan. I'll add this information into a spreadsheet and hand it out at the carvan. As a backup though, like I said, I'll be bringing some print outs of this as well.

Thank you all for your support of this event. Together we will make this a great success!!

I've started up an attendance list for all those coming on the caravan. This will help for all the others so that you can all hookup with who's closest to you prior to the link up.
