If you have not found something to clean your top, try this.

http://prestone.com/products/53.htm

I have used that on my 98Cavalier and I just tried it on my Z28's top, it works. Plain and simple. It takes all the stains out. Make the top pearl white. Well worth the money.

Along with washing, claying, washing and polishing the car yesterday.

THe paint needs help. I think I have to clay the car again or have it wet sanded and buffed. Sucks. But what are you going to do with a car that has sat outside in the elements from 11/00 to 2/02. So the top and the paint have issues.

But that Prestone cleaner that I bought did the job as best it could. THere were some spots on the top that were a bear to get clean, for the most part, it was a dramatic difference.

I also learned that Zaino either has a shelf life or leaving it outside during the winter in a uninsulated/unheated garage is not a good thing.

Time to place another order.

OH, not a problem guys. I had always had trouble finding something to clean the top with. I found that stuff about 4 years ago when I had a 1998 Cav with a white top. I think the white top, although it is tougher upkeep, sets the car off.

Here are some pics of it when I first got it on feb.28th.

I clicked the site and it shows prestone Interior Cleaner. Just to verify, is this what you used on your white convertible top? I just got a 97 Camaro SS and it's my first convertible so I'm new at finding out how to clean it other than a car wash product like Castrol's super Clean car wash or Mother's car wash products

On a different note, I have the white leather interior and have a couple black scuff marks on the bottom back of the front seat. I tried Turtle Wax Emerald series leather cleaner which did a good job on the surface dirt but themarks are still there. Any suggestions on getting those out?

Thanks for the help.

Yes, it says interior, but it works beautifully on vinyl. It is all I will use on my top.

I would recommend www.zainobros.com for all the rest of your car care needs.

It's also a good idea to put something like Raggtop protectant on it after you do that. It will last for a good while.
