as you are reading you might want to look at the picture at the bottom of the post..

I don't know for sure because i never think about it when i'm around another convertible and around here a firebird convertible is rare and i don't know how the camaro trunks are made but does everyone else look like this? I think its supposed to be attached from the bottom to look the same as the two smaller pieces under the spoiler that is attached to the car..

if it is infact upside down how should i fix it? does it peel off? and how would i get it to stick back on?
