Has anyone here bought a top and put it on themselves? I can get a new pvc white top for $225. I called a shop and they want $860 to buy and install one. I think I might have the balls to do it myself if one of you guys has tried it. Only question I really have is how to reuse the back window section. How is it attached?

Buy yourself a set of the GM F-body shop manuals and there should be a section that talks about replacing the convertible top. You can get the manuals from www.helinc.com They cost about $120.00 per set of 3.
