Where can I get shallow speakers to replace my sail panel speakers in my vert. I tried a pair that a buddy of mine had but the top would hit it. The ones that are in there are very shallow. Anyone replaced these?

I bought some 1" spacers from Best Buy. My Kicker 6.5" coax speakers just barely clear. Give it a try.

Is there enough room between the sail panel and the spaker mount?

I have 1" spacers as well. There is just enough space there for everything to work as it should. The only problem I encountered is that when you install the boot, the sail panels stick out further than the boot covers. I'm very picky about things like this.. and I'm going to see what else can be done about it. Another thing you'll want to consider. The way the '500 watt' monsoon system is set up, there are actually 2 speakers mounted in that location. One is a mid, and the other a tweeter. If you hook all 4 wires (there are 4 wires per side) to one speaker, it won't work. You'll be looking for a pair of tweeters to mount back there as well Now, if you have or are replacing the amp, you won't have to deal with that. I just wanted to replace the speakers because I had a spare set lying around.
