MY car: 99Z28 A4 Convertible. The only chassis Mods I've done is a STB, no SFC's.

Ok, I got some Hooker Longtubes installed with the Hooker Y-pipe hooked up to the Stock I-pipe. Everything fits under there really tight. The X-brace rubs the Y-pipe and I get alot of vibrations. I have done wrapped the Y-pipe in 3 different places with header wrap and heater hose to prevent metal to metal banging. That has helped alot, but there is still alot of smaller vibrations that are rather annoying.

Will the SLP X brace fit in there and help with these vibrations? Is there any other products that would prevent the y-pipe from banging around. Would SFC help?

My guess is that the SLP brace will help. You could also take it to a shop taht can heat the pipes and bend them around a bit for a good "custom" fit.

I got rid off the x brace and put in some Kenny Brown SFC's

I have FLP's going into a Borla.

However, I JUST got a Spohn torque Arm and am quite anxious that there will be a banging problem.
