Just scooped up a 6 month old hyd. pump for the SS 'Vert on Ebay. Got the part for $56 (US)! They retail for $1500 (US) [Eek!] . $1500 (US) for a hydraulic pump. That's insane!

Sounds like a good buy and a nice part to have in the shed "just in case".

If I had of engaged in a bidding war for this part, I would have passed on it. Like you said Teri, it's only an 'just in case' part. But.... there were only 4 bids total, with a winning bid of $56 (US). If my original pump quit ( somewhere down the road ), it would probably cost more than $56 to rebuild it anyways. Sure it will sit on the shelf for quite a while but it's nice to have a back up. [Smile]
