Hello to all those who don't know me or who have never heard about me. I am a regular on many other boards and that's where I have become well-known for my line of custom sub enclosures for f-body cars. The recent demand in convertible enclosures has motivated me to engineer several boxes especially for convertibles. Now I realize that a lot of vert owners have no interest in adding bass to their cars. But for the ones that do, I may be of services. I have a couple different designs. Different than what you may have seen before so be sure to check those out. Links in sig

That's great to hear. I currently have two designs specifically for 4th gen convertibles.
And I know that in verts the pump that actuates the top is located in the driver's side cubby. That's the spot where a lot of coupe owners mount their stealthboxes. So I took it a little further and designed my own stealth for the passenger side. It can fit either a 10 or 12.
At the same time, I realize that giving up the spare is a bit of a concern. But nowadays lots of people have triple A so it may not be an issue at all.
Another design I have fits in the lower part of the well. I kept it flush to the ledges so that you could retain as much of the limited trunk space as possible. This one fits two 10s or a single 12" sub, which is shown.
It fits so good, you can hardly tell what parts are the box and what parts are the car.
And I'm working on other designs for verts. It seems convertibles have totally been left out of the custom-fit enclosure world. I have yet to see anything brand-name like q-logic or mtx that's made for f-body convertibles. So I'm here to help for those interested. On a limited basis, I can do "custom" work too. Not owning a vert hurts a little, but I have plenty owners testing fit and function for me so everything works out. Sorry for rambling

That Brickyard 400 is one of 45 that were used at last years Brickyard 400 race. The car is #22 and came with 2 Indiana licence plates that were legal while the car was being used at the Brickyard and for NHRA at the U.S. Nationals later. The link in my signature will show some pictures of the 2 different plates.I live in Michigan and have a personalized plate. Here is a picture of the Michigan plate. Megabass, I see you are in Connersville. Ever get up to Fort Wayne? If so, look me up. I've got a custom box for you to check-out that I designed for 4th-gen ragtops (link to pics & info in sig). I got tired of waiting for a "major mfr" to design one, but realize that there probably isn't enough demand considering ragtops make up only a small portion of the f-body production, then only ~ 1/4 of those will want to upgrade their stereos, then only ~ 1/2 of those will want to go the extra mile for a custom-box (vs. a "generic" solution like a Bazooka). So I suspect that all of the big companies are only going where the demand will offset the R&D: SUVs, Trucks, Ricers and Mustangs .

I hardly ever make it up there to fort wayne. But I have seen your box though. I figured I better not do that design But I was surprised by the demand I was getting for all types of vert stuff and hated that I had to turn people away since I didn't have anything for them. So that was my motive, despite the lower demand.
