What headers do you guys use on your cars? I heard that the x-brace on convertibles gets in the way. Also i am looking into getting subframe conectors and a strut tower brace. any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

I hear nothing but good things about the Kenny Brown Double Diamond subframe connectors, but they're pricy. BMR makes some for Verts and they are ~$100 less than the KBDDs. BMR makes a good STB. The x-brace isn't much... Headers depend on how legal you need to be. If you just need to pass the sniff test, Hooker longtubes with cats are bang for the buck. If you have to pass visual, FLP (pricy...) is the long tube option and there are several shorty headers that folks go with: SLP, Macs, Hooker shortys & AS&Ms. Do a search on headers here and you'll get more details.

All the info I have seen and/or heard agrees with Tony. KBDD for SFC (although I'm going to volunteer my vert for a new company called Spohn) and FLPs for the header package. Or Hookers for a more economical solution. FLP's give you more flexibility with changes to cats and ORPs.
Good luck and keep us posted.
