Who here uses OD with their high-stall converter? I'm curious since I am eyeing a road trip and want to bring the SS.

My car stays in OD 99% of the time. No problems. I only use D for long distances under 40 mph OR if I'm stuck behind someone doing under 40 mph going up a hill.

FYI: I'm running a ST3500 with B&M 24000 cooler.

I use OD when I am on the Hwy. I use 3rd or D in town stop and go driving. Works fine and I still get good gas milage [Wink] [Razz]
