did all fbodys come with power steering cooler? it may be a stupid question, just learning thxs dog

Well I know they were standard on Z28's and SS Camaros for '02. The V6 cars didn't get them. Not sure about the other model years.. or the Firebirds.

No, not all f-bodies came with power steering coolers. For the first couple of years of the LS-1, only the Camaro SS's, Firebird Ws-6 and Firehawk came with the power steeering coolers. I do not recall what year they became standard on all of them (2000-2001???)
However, it can be added by ordering the correct pieces from GM (in-line oil to water heat exchanger, new upper rad hose (two piece) new power steering lines, clamps and the bracket to hold it on radiator shroud).

No.My 1999 Z28 had the optional power steering cooler. I am looking at the original window sticker now and it was a $100 option.I believe that it became standard on a LS1 in 2001. Posted by Z28-SORR (Member # 1565) on :
They were also standard with the B4C(Police) option.
