why we owners of Camaro SS's always have to have a SS?? uh??
I am selling my 97 SS for a 2002 SS. But why not get a Firehawk or WS6?? Is it a Chevy thing or what?!?
I just want to know!

It's a Chevy Thing. Ever since I've been old enough to be aware of cars, I've preferred Chevy. Maybe it's because my Dad had a '55 that he bought new. I was 4 years old at the time and I still remember the new car smell when he first brought it home.

Not weird, Doug. I feel the same. But Mopar hasn't given us a choice. Unless you can afford a Viper, where is the performance Mopar??

I think two things; 1. Chevy 2. For all of us old time muscle fans, nothing compares to an SS.

What the Car & Driver test in '99 on the SS, 30th Anniversary Firebird and Mustang said. Posted by Black&Evil01SS (Member # 955) on :
I would have to agree that the memories of the true muscle cars of the 60's and 70's where all Chevy's. We tend to stay with what we know the best, and my memories of those times ring with the Chevy Posted by SStylez (Member # 839) on :
I guess I'm the lone crossover here. I had a 98' Firebird and a 2000 WS6 Trans Am, but then something happened and well I have a SS now. Posted by Voiceguy (Member # 844) on :
To me, the TA always tended to look "pretty", and the Camaro always looked "tough"! Posted by Scott Chab (Member # 174) on :

You're not worthy of a Firehawk...

Just make sure you don't roll in front of a "lowly" Firehawk... the driver might not see you till it's too late...
