Good Morning ... short day and then 8 hours of catfishing on the Red River with an assortment of in-laws (father, 2 x brother & nephew).
Y'all have a great day, eh Posted by JohnS (Member # 1073) on :
G'morning!
Last few days of production for the f-body this week.
I attended a small local car show on Saturday afternoon. About 100 cars, mostly classics. All four generations of Camaros were represented, with mine being the only 4th gen. SS. SS's are still relatively rare here, so there was a lot of people interested in the car. I was surprised how many people knew production was ending.

Good morning all, I'm on a secret mission today. There will be one fine looking black SS roaming the streets when I am done (in addition to mine of course).
Enjoy, the weather is perfect. Brian, come on down, we really need an insurance office here! Posted by poSSum (Member # 119) on :

You've solved a bunch of problems Dan
- Brian has a branch office - You have a job - And Brian can head over to "check up on you" whenever the weather dictates

Now we're talking! I noticed there were no offices in Litchfield, as a matter of fact, I noticed there wasn't much of anything in Litchfield!!
Hmm - maybe we'll start a professional office complex. You know any dentists, doctors, lawyers etc that want to branch out? Let's do some business.

Howdy!
Had a nice time being "crew" for Saturday's Track Day...(alright, I really didn't have to do anything except drive the support van & trailer and then sit there all day visiting w/everyone else), so I had a nice time. Went to a most excellent impromtu dinner party afterward. Kudos to Heather for her putting up w/10 people in her apartment. Sunday was pretty leisurely...we attempted to make some more travel/caravan plans for the B.G. trip. Someone will need to talk OBSSD into posting the route maps that he made. We're still looking for people near our planned overnight stops in Boise, ID Provo, UT Denver, CO to join us for the rest of the journey to KY.

Good Morning Everyone. I had a good weekend. Our local F-body had their big event and congrats to Sideshow for Peoples Choice..
P.S. I got to finally meet Sideshow and I was suprised that he doesn't have poofy orange hair and sounds different than Kelsey Grammar.. ..

Guh...I did NOT want to drag myself out of bed this morning. Waking up early on Saturday was easy...I had a track day to look forward to, but Monday's just suck.
Speaking of the track day...it was a blast! The Kumho's make a huge difference in cornering ability. It was cool having an accelerometer recording the data. I can see I was progressively pushing harder through the corners as the day progressed, with a peak of 1.29g for a moment No wonder my arms and shoulders are so sore today...now I need a better seat so I don't have to spend as much energy holding myself in place.
And before Steve beats me to it: yes, I flubbed up with the camcorder and didn't get any good footage The last, and best, session is on tape; it's just at 10x magnification with only 20 feet of visibility beyond the hood (it did get a few good shots of Steve's mufflers, though).

The big question is, exactly why he decided to zoom in on the back of his hoodscoop, windshield wiper and my mufflers?! You would think he would have liked to get a good view of the entire track!!!! Posted by HTWLSS (Member # 117) on :

Yeah, well I knew those choice words wouldn't be appropriate in this forum
