I looked at the first pic and knew whose car that was.
Rich, I am still amazed at the cleanup job you did. Truely amazing.
If I recall, didnt you say they totalled the other cars in that garage you were in?

I remember when you first posted the pics, Rich. I didn't realize that was the same car you brought to Bowling Green. Like Chris said, you did an awesome job cleaning it up and bringing it back to showroom shape. Posted by DanPazich (Member # 1352) on :
wow rich!!! i didn't know! HAH! small world. Great pics anyways. It's quite amazing. Brings back quite sad memories although.

Rich's SS will always be a SSpecial one.

Thanks all.
Me and the SS have been through our share, and you're right Teri, it is really special to me because of how hard I had to work to get it back from "there".
Chris is correct in saying that they couldn't clean most of the cars in that garage, and totaled them. With a great deal of patience (and many innovative vacuum attachments) I was able to save mine.
Not to get all sappy on you, but you guys are what makes this car as special as it is to me, and why I worked so hard to retrieve it and then clean it.
Thanks!

And I'm sure it definately payed off in the end and was well worth every second of your time 'restoring' it!! Posted by leadfoot (Member # 695) on :
First let me say WOW what a job you did on the clean up. You got everything off teh convertable top Second I bet you were kicking yourself in the butt for leaving the windows cracked that day...could have been worse could have left the top down. Way to go glad you got to keep her.

My 02 SS came out of the factory, the day before that happened. Rich, I couldn't believe how clean it was when I saw it at Mikey's place.

Seeing the car up close last year I could not tell that it had been through what it had. Richard did such a great job cleaning it after bringing it home. Way to go man!

Actually the parking attendants at the garage do that. I have to tell you, when I finally got it out of there, the only kicking these feet were doing was in the air as I was jumping for joy!
I can't say it enough though - you guys were so great then, have been all along, and are now. I can't tell how much it means to me!
