Picked my car up from the shop today. I had an oil/filter change, 6 month checkup, and tire rotation as well as warranty issues (fixed my broken rear defrost, ordered new driver door speaker, ordered lugnut covers and 3 center caps). No problem whatsoever. Never once said anything about the warranty issues and was very nice about it. I take my dealer to Forbes Chevrolet in Camp Hill PA. I highly reccomend them to anyone in the area. The whole staff is great there and almost everyone I passed when I went to pick up my car said hello. Just thought I'd post a 'positive experience' here. I feel bad for those who have gone through so much aggrevation and trouble. Thanks! [Cool]

Excellent! [Big Grin] Hopefully I will have a similar story to tell on Friday, after my car goes in for warranty work. [Eek!]

I too have had good experiences with the dealer, many of which I have posted here. There definitely are a few that understand the meaning of service, recognize the value we place on our cars, and respect it.

Yeah, it's good to know that a dealership actaully has a good service/bodyshop. I bought my car at another dealer since they had the SS on the lot, but my whole family does business with Forbes (and have bought 4-5 vehicles there as well).

On top of that...my total bill for what i mentioned above was $42. Cant complain about that (though I bought the Mobil 1 myself) [Cool]

Nice to hear, Dan.

I picked the Envoy up from the dealership after another 3 day stay.

Seems that filing for arbitration and a letter to the dealer principal stirred things up a little.

The assistant service manager is working directly with the platform engineer now to try and work out the bugs ...and they actually seem to be making progress. [Eek!]
