I'm going to NYC April 2 - 5 with my son's theater group as a chaperone!!!
I had to PROMISE him that I would stay as far away from him as I possibly could AND to act like I did not know him AND if we happened to be in the same vicinity NOT to embarrass him.....LOL!!
SOOOOOOOO.....where are some good tattoo parlors?? j/k.....sorta....

In the theatre district there is a place that gets tickets every day to popular shower at a reduced price for that night. Might want to check it out.

for what its worth FAO Schwartz (sp?) in the city is closed or will be closing. if they haven't closed already, im not sure of the date.
And Phantom was incredible!! it was my first broadway show and i really really enjoyed it!! also, in times square youll see a McDonalds. well right next door is the times square information center. go in and at the booth/desk in the center of the room there is a list of shows that have "student rush" seats as they call them available. while we were in teh city to see Phantom, we toyed with the idea of going to see Aida that night for only $25 with our student discount. just be sure all the kids have a student id. depending on the dates you're here, maybe we could get some kind of mini G2G going... now that I'm saying this, im sure i wont be able to make. such is my luck Posted by mattp (Member # 2140) on :
and the 5th of April is my bro's bday, so count that day out Posted by 35TH ED/ed (Member # 1709) on :

How about several Italian resteraunts :
If you want EXCELLENT and CHEAP Italian food, try Frutti di Mare (84 E. 4th St) tel: 979-2034 or Cucine De Pesce (right across the street.) The food is EXCELLENT and the prices are very reasonable!
Joey I hope these meet with your approval . From my brother in law who lived in NYC for 10 years.
