(This definitely belongs here)

The SFC's have been on for two months now. The installer was kind enough to hold the drop light while I took a couple of point-n-shoot pics. Put some Extend rust inhibitor from NAPA on the welds.

Needless to say they really tightened up the car. There is less body roll in the corners. Under acceleration, the left fender use to lift more than the right. It is not as pronounced now.

XBCHBUM,

Have you had occasion to notice if the KBDD's have tightened your car up over rough roads? The thing I notice the most is that my car seems to "shimmy" a lot on bad roads or over railroad tracks. I have been looking into getting a set of SFC's, but there still seems to be some disagreement about the effectiveness depending on who's opinion you get. I'm looking for all the opinions I can get from convertible owners.

Thanks,
Alan

Yes! I should have mentioned that before. I have definitely noticed an improvement. There is still some shimmy, but it has been greatly reduced. I suppose the only way to get all of it out would be to install a six point roll cage!

Do you have a STB also? KBDDSFCs are probably my next mod, probably a STB too (if it really helps).

Hi Johnny, I put a Hotchkis on last fall soon after buying the car. It also help with the body roll. The steering seemed to tighten up some also. Meaning less turning of the steering wheel. There's a pic on the last page of my site.

You should post your sub here! I haven't forgotten about it.

Ahha, So that's what they look like!
How much were they?

What brand were your sfc's?
Where did you order them?

ThanX

They are Kenny Brown Double Diamonds. I got them from www.tbyrne.com for about $250 I think. The installation cost me $125.
