First off I would like to say that I am new to this website. my question I have just bought a 99 Trans Am convertible the car is triple white the person that owned the car before me put eibach pro kit lowering springs on it then he put 18 inch neeper fly wheels on it I like the rims on the car bought I would like to go with something bigger like 19,s or I would like to keep the rims I have now and put like a 2.5 inch lowering kit. so does anyone know if 19's fit with an 1.5 lowering kit and also what companys make a 2.5 lowering kit. any information on this subject would really help thank you

It depends on what tire size you go with. I wanted to go w/ 19"s but they rims I wanted costed around 1 g each.

'Kits'? What you will find are sets of lowering springs, in the 1.5-1.7" range. Stock shocks can be used, but you should match the higher rate springs with higher rate shocks.
Rear LCA relocation brackets are a good idea. GW makes the best.
For a 2.5" drop, look to high rate springs, coil-over type spring perches (for fine tuning ride height), shocks adjustable for compression and rebound. You will only be an inch or so off of the bump stops at that.
As for wheel fitment, it's width, offset, and tire choice that are important. My 10.5" wide wheels fit fine.
See my web pages - I'm very happy with the handling and ride, and very rarely touch on speedbumps, but many driveways are tricky.

thank you for all of the information I think I am going to go with a 2" lowering kit instead of a 2.5
